Hello,
I live in Moordown on Shooters Hill and I'm sure we share the common land of Oxleas and Crown woods.
I am writing to you to see if anyone in your area is doing anything about Christ Church School's proposed plan to take over the common land between their school and Severndroog castle. The council supports the idea, but none of the residents I have spoken to in my neighbourhood (Shooters Hill) support it. Have you heard anything about it? If this business (and no matter how much they claim they are a community school, that is not how schools work anymore, unfortunately) it sets a precedent for other business to do this. Plus it is a sizeable chunk of open space we would all lose. Could we get together to discuss this, and can you suggest anyone else who is fighting this? I am really angered that they think they can take our land away. The representative actually said to me, 'it is only used by dog walkers'. So he thinks it is OK for one organisation to fence it off from all of our use?

how about starting a photo,section
in your website?
the pics,could be of anything local
i.e.
the park,bad parking,our favourite
litter,weeds,sunnydays sunsets
pubs clubs.
