We'd do a lot worse than to look to Amsterdam for good examples of urban living. Here's what bike lanes should look like - forget painted lines - here from right to left you can see lanes for pedestrians, bikes cars and trams. What an excellent idea for the school run (are British parents trim enough?) Child carriers come in traditional or trendy chic. Uploaded by: esor

I took this photo at The Tarn in Mottingham standing over the wooden bridge over the small lake. Is it just me or does it resemble a lady in a cloak overlooking the water?

Bardhill Sports Ground: This place is a eye sore and a source of weeds and rubbish. This land has stood idle for years. I tried to get the use of the field for the archery club I shoot for, at least it would have been kept in some sort of order if we could use it, or at least why not let the local schools have use of it. What are the plans for the future of this piece of land and/or what can be done about it?

In New Eltham Village?: This was taken in a small town in Northern France where the residents seem to really care about they live. Wouldn't it be pleasant to think something like this could be in New Eltham Village?
