eMarket Guidelines

Please read the following before listing or purchasing an item.

By using the eMarket users are deemed to have agreed to these acceptable use guidelines.

Users must not antagonise other users of this service or post any information that could be considered defamatory, obscene, abusive or unlawful. You may be held liable for the content you post.

The New Eltham Residents Association (NERA) accepts NO liability for any items posted or purchased in the eMarket - a buyer must satisfy themselves that any transaction made is solely between the seller and the buyer.

No mains powered electrical items, knives, dangerous substances, drugs or other illegal items are to be offered for sale or posted in the eMarket.

Users must not use the eMarket to make complaints against any individual or organisation. If you are unsure whether or not an item is appropriate, contact the Website Co-ordinator.

If an inappropriate item is posted, it will be deleted. You will be informed by private email that your item is unacceptable for posting and you will be asked not to post such items in future. If you post another such item, your email address will be removed from the subscribers' list.

The New Eltham Residents Association (NERA) may refuse to accept items for sale, if in doubt and their decision is final.

The New Eltham Residents Association (NERA) reserve the right to withdraw the eMarket facility if it is felt it is being abused or misused.
